Government Entities Require Signage Just Like Private Enterprises
We Have Signage Solutions for Government Buildings, Parks and Community Centers
Whether you are a city, county, state or even federal governmental body, signage is an important part of your building aesthetic. This is especially true in the area of “way-finding” signage. How many times have you visited a government building and found yourself lost upon entering? We have extensive experience in signage for all levels of government and the many departments found within.
The photos above give you a snapshot of the types of signs government entities need. Feel free to explore even more examples by following each link.
Metal Plaques – Almost every government building has commemorative metal plaques that adorn their interior and exterior walls. Plaques come in a variety of material and construction mediums: bronze and aluminum, cast or etched. We can do markers, seals, logos and emblems and other plaques with a variety of textures, finishes and colors. Portrait options are also available in a variety of “reliefs”.
Way-finding/Directional Signs - Perhaps the most important interior signs for government buildings are those classified as “directional” or “way-finding”. With so many departments and offices housed in a government building, effective directional signage is essential for the public to find where they are going as quickly as possible.
Building Signs – As with non-governmental entities, we design, permit, fabricate and install a comprehensive variety of all types of illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
ADA Compliant Signs – Of all buildings, government buildings should have the most up-to-date ADA signage. Governments make the laws and they should, if anyone, make sure their buildings are ADA compliant. We can help with this.
Other Interior Signs – Government buildings have a variety of dimensional interior lettering. (For example, many “chambers” have dimensional lettering that reads “IN GOD WE TRUST”. These are often dimensional metals letters in either a gold or bronze finish.) Departmental wall signs are often dimensional letters routed from a variety materials and adorned with a variety of finishes. Colorful acrylic displays show off the latest city project. These can be changed out as time goes by with more recent projects.
Monument Signs – Most government building also have monument signs. Whether these are made of concrete, stucco coated aluminum, or even a simple sandblasted wood signs, the designs, colors and construction mediums of these signs are endless. Let us help you determine the best choice possible given the building aesthetics, compliance with city codes, and to help maximize the purpose and utility of your sign.
